Sleep and Pregnancy

Even in the early stages of pregnancy it can be difficult to sleep comfortably. Between nausea, changes in your body and insomnia finding a way to sleep can get a bit challenging.

With my first pregnancy I would make a nest of pillows around me. With heartburn I would stack pillows up and sleep upright.

My second and third pregnancy I ended up using a L shaped nursing pillow to support my back or belly.

During the end of my fourth pregnancy I got to try out a new pillow system that helps with sleeping position. It was great for pregnancy and helped alot with my belly and back. I wish I had this earlier and with my previous pregnancies. It looks a bit intimidating as there are many parts, however it was similar to when I would make a nest a pillows but less bulky. Everything also stayed together if I ended up moving around at night.
